Need an SEO expert

I'm looking for a good SEO expert and having a hard time finding one.

I feel like I know quite a bit about SEO, having experimented with my own site and read a lot (on SEO forums, the SEO Book, etc).

Right now I have a pile of changes I want to make to my website, which I believe will help with SEO, but it'll cost a lot to get the changes made, I want to get a site review / second opinion from an SEO expert first (which I expect to pay for of course).

I'm having a hard time finding someone though that I can trust has the right level of expertise.

Any suggestions?

why don't you have your site reviewed by our group for SEO SEM, It would be a chance for people to share and learn at the same time.

Sure I can do that, but I'd prefer not to have that done publicly. If anyone is interested in my SEO dilemmas, just PM me your email address. I actually kind of doubt that us folks here are expert enough, but it could be interesting to discuss it...

Hey Daphne,

At my course yesterday, we had a guest speaker talking to us about SEO.
The speaker was Darlene, from www.drivetraffic.ca.
She is actually in Ottawa, and was saying that she has grown her business through sub-contracting for other Internet/design firms for her specialty.
She was on the ball, and very down to earth. She also mentioned a time when she stopped a PPC campaign for a client as it was not converting right. (she does some PPC campaings as well, but focuses on focused Organic search)
Her focus is ROI for the client, whether that is sign ups, revenue, etc... Results is what she cares about.
